Kanon is a Japanese visual novel developed by Key, a brand of Visual Arts. It was released on June 4, 1999, for Windows as an adult game. Key later released versions of Kanon without the erotic content, and the game was ported to the Dreamcast, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable and Nintendo Switch. The story follows the life of Yuichi Aizawa, a high school student who returns to a city he last visited seven years prior, and he has little recollection of the events from back then. He meets several girls and slowly regains his lost memories. The gameplay in Kanon follows a branching plot line which offers pre-determined scenarios with courses of interaction, and focuses on the appeal of the five female main characters by the player character. The game once ranked as the second best-selling PC game sold in Japan, and charted in the national top 50 several more times afterwards. Kanon has sold over 300,000 units across several platforms.
Natsuko Kuwatani is a Japanese voice actress who works for I'm Enterprise as of March 1, 2008. Her major roles are in anime shows and they include Yue Ayase in Negima, Fiore in Chrono Crusade, Alph in Nanoha, Michiru in Magikano, Suiseiseki in Rozen Maiden, Yae Shinatsuhiko in Yozakura Quartet and Sae Kawano in Yurumates. In video games she voices Kasuga in Sengoku Basara.
Clannad is a Japanese visual novel developed by Key and released on April 28, 2004, for Windows. While both of Key's first two previous works, Kanon and Air, had been released first as adult games and then censored for the younger market, Clannad was specifically made for all ages. It was later ported to the PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch consoles. An English version for Windows was released on Steam by Sekai Project in 2015.
Futakoi is a light novel, visual novel and anime television series created by Hina Futaba and Mutsumi Sasaki. The anime aired in Japan in 2004. Ballad of a Shinigami, subtitled Momo: The Girl God of Death, is a Japanese light novel series written by K-Ske Hasegawa, with illustrations by Nanakusa. The series includes twelve novels released between June 10, 2003 and April 10, 2009, published by ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki Bunko imprint. The novels were licensed by Seven Seas Entertainment for release in English with the first novel released in March 2008. The series revolves around Momo, a shinigami, and her familiar Daniel, a talking black cat, as they interfere with the world of the living.
Strawberry Panic! is a series of Japanese illustrated short stories written by Sakurako Kimino, which focus on a group of teenage girls attending three affiliated all-girl schools on Astraea Hill. A common theme throughout the stories is the intimate lesbian relationships between the characters. The original artist was Chitose Maki, who was succeeded by Namuchi Takumi when production of the manga and light novels began.
Little Busters! is a Japanese visual novel developed by Key. It was released on July 27, 2007 for Windows PCs and is rated for all ages. Little Busters! is Key's sixth game, along with other titles such as Kanon, Air, and Clannad. An adult version of the game titled Little Busters! Ecstasy was released on July 25, 2008 for Windows, unlike Kanon and Air, which were first released with adult content and then had later versions with such content removed. Ecstasy was later ported to the PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 3, and Nintendo Switch with the adult content removed under the title Little Busters! Converted Edition. An English version for Windows was released on Steam in 2017. The story follows a group of childhood friends now attending high school called the Little Busters, as they decide to form a baseball team. Riki, who is diagnosed with narcolepsy, is tasked to recruit more girls in preparation for a baseball game, and he bonds with each of them on account of their internal conflicts. Meanwhile, Rin gets mysterious letters from her cat Lennon to complete various tasks to learn the "secret to this world".
Marriage Royale is a series of illustrated Japanese fictional short stories written by Shingo Hifumi and illustrated by Aoi Nishimata and Hiro Suzuhira; both illustrators are from Navel. The short stories ran as part of a reader-participation game in the Japanese bishōjo magazine Dengeki G's Magazine, published by ASCII Media Works, between the January 2006 and May 2011 issues. A manga titled Marriage Royale based on the short stories, illustrated by Koko Natsuki from Lime, was serialized between the April 2007 and January 2011 issues of Dengeki G's Magazine. A second manga titled Marriage Royale: Prism Story illustrated by Junka Morozumi started serialization in Dengeki G's Festival! Comic on October 26, 2009.
Dengeki G's Radio was a radio program broadcast by Nippon Cultural Broadcasting between October 13, 2002 and June 27, 2004, and was produced by MediaWorks for Dengeki G's Magazine, a bishōjo game magazine MediaWorks publishes. There were ninety regular broadcasts airing once a week every Sunday between 11:00 PM and 11:30 PM. A single sixty-minute special was broadcast on December 2, 2006 called Dengeki G's Radio 2006.
Angel Beats! is a 13-episode Japanese anime television series produced by P.A. Works and Aniplex and directed by Seiji Kishi. The story was originally conceived by Jun Maeda, who also wrote the screenplay and composed the music with the group Anant-Garde Eyes, with original character design by Na-Ga; both Maeda and Na-Ga are from the visual novel brand Key, who produced such titles as Kanon, Air, and Clannad. The anime aired in Japan between April 3 and June 26, 2010, on CBC. An original video animation (OVA) episode was released in December 2010, and a second OVA was released in June 2015. The story takes place in the afterlife and focuses on Otonashi, a boy who lost his memories of his life after dying. He is enrolled into the afterlife school and meets a girl named Yuri who invites him to join the Afterlife Battlefront, an organization she leads which fights against the student council president Kanade Tachibana, a girl also known as Angel with supernatural powers.
Kino's Journey —the Beautiful World—, shortened to Kino's Journey, is a Japanese light novel series written by Keiichi Sigsawa, with illustrations by Kouhaku Kuroboshi. The series follows a traveler named Kino and her talking motorcycle named Hermes, as they explore countries with unique customs and people around a mysterious world, only spending three days at each location. The series originally started serialization in volume five of MediaWorks' now-defunct light novel magazine Dengeki hp on March 17, 2000. The first volume of the series was published on July 10, 2000 by ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki Bunko publishing imprint. As of November 2020, 23 volumes have been published.
Baby Princess is a series of Japanese illustrated short stories written by Sakurako Kimino with illustrations by Natsuki Mibu and Yuki Kiriga. The stories were a part of a reader participation game in ASCII Media Works' Dengeki G's Magazine where readers could influence the progression of the story. The project was first unveiled in the October 2007 issue of Dengeki G's Magazine, and ran until the June 2012 issue.
Yurumates is a Japanese four-panel manga series written and illustrated by Saxyun. The series revolves around four university students living together in a cheap apartment building. It has been adapted into two OVAs and an anime series that premiered April 2012 under the name Yurumates 3D.
Love Live! School Idol Project is a Japanese multimedia project co-developed by ASCII Media Works' Dengeki G's Magazine, music label Lantis, and animation studio Sunrise. It is the first multimedia project in the Love Live! franchise. The project revolves around a group of nine schoolgirls who become idols in order to save their school from shutting down. It launched in the August 2010 issue of Dengeki G's Magazine, and went on to produce music CDs, anime music videos, two manga adaptations, and video games.
Zigaexperientia is the third studio album by the Japanese J-pop band Supercell, released on November 27, 2013 by SME. The album contains 15 music tracks written by Ryo, and sung by Koeda, though officially Koeda is not a member of Supercell. Six of the tracks were previously released on five of Supercell's singles. Three different editions of the album were released: a regular CD version, a CD+DVD limited edition, and a CD+BD limited edition. Zigaexperientia peaked at No. 7 on the Japanese Oricon weekly albums chart.
Sakura Revolution is the first single released by Prits, a voice acting unit composed of Hisayo Mochizuki, Nana Mizuki, Natsuko Kuwatani, and Yumiko Kobayashi; all joined from the anime, Sister Princess. The first track, Sakura Revolution is also included in Dengeki G's Radio Complication Mini Album "G Raji Ongakubu" as well as its G's Mix version. In addition, Prits' sister unit Friends released a rearranged version of Sakura Revolution.
Morfonica is a Japanese all-female rock band that is part of Bushiroad's media franchise BanG Dream!. Formed in 2020, the group's members portray fictional characters in the project's anime series and mobile game BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! in addition to performing their characters' respective instruments in live concerts.
